Alexandria City Community Theatre Presents 'Apollo Live'

Members of the city-organized Power-On programs will sing and dance through the decades.

 

Alexandria City Community Theatre presents Apollo Live as a final salute to Black History Month.

Members of the Power-On extended day programs organized by the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities will sing and dance through the decades March 1 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Kauffman Auditorium at the Lee Center, 1108 Jefferson St.

This event is open to the public. There is a $3 suggested donation for adults.

Performances include Motown from the 60’s, line dancing from the 70’s, pop music from the 80’s and more.
