Alexandria Firm to Ring NYSE Opening Bell on Friday

Founders of investment advice and advocacy firm The Motley Fool also are launching an investor empowerment campaign.

Executives and guests of Old Town Alexandria-based are visiting the New York Stock Exchange on Friday to ring the opening bell and launch a new investor empowerment campaign.

Fool co-founders David and Tom Gardner will ring the bell, joined by Fool CIO Andy Cross and members of the Fool community.

The investor campaign will wrap up Sept. 25 with “Worldwide Invest Better Day," an initiative designed to educate investors and empower them by robust dialogue on all topics affecting individual investors.
