Animal Shelter Offers Back-to-School Discounts
Fees reduced by 50 percent during "Rush Week."
The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is holding a series of Back-to-School Adoption events, and this week is “Rush Week.”
Potential foster families are welcome to meet the “brothers” and “sisters” of Delta Omicron Gamma (DOG) and Kappa Alpha Tau (KAT) through Aug. 21.
Adoption fees for members of DOG and KAT will be cut in half during Rush Week.
Adopters of other animals will receive the “underclassmen discount” of 25 percent.
