Body in Well Identified as Lenny Harris

Alexandria community activist has been missing since September.

Investigators have identified the body pulled from a well on Old Fort Hunt Rd. in Fort Washington, Md., on Saturday afternoon as Lenny Harris.

The announcement came via a tweet from Prince George's County Police Department Public Information Officer Julie Parker.

An autopsy was conducted Sunday. Alexandria Police assisted Prince George's County law enforcement in the investigation.

in September and his phone was found on the Wilson Bridge after he did not show up for a speaking engagement at the local jail. His on King Street after his disapperance, and abandoned in October in Prince George’s County.
