The City of Alexandria is accepting orders beginning Friday, March 8 for mulch delivery to area residents.

The mulch delivery occurs throughout April and May.

Delivery dates and times are limited, and appointments are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Mulch is free to residents and available for pick up 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, at 4215 Eisenhower Ave.

There is a $40 delivery charge for a half-truck load or full-truck load.
