Couldn't Get Much Sleep Thanks to Thursday Night's Lightning Storm?

If you couldn't sleep last night, it may have been due to flashing lights and thunder.
The Northern Virginia area, particularly Alexandria, experienced a lightning storm around midnight. It was a brilliant show of mother nature's fury. The lightning seemed endless and continued the show for about two hours.
