PAC Alexandrians for Sensible Growth Endorses Five Candidates

Local PAC founded in 2002 gives nod to Peabody, Menjivar, Moshenberg, Silberberg and Walker.

Local Alexandria political action committee Alexandrians for Sensible Growth announced Tuesday it has endorsed a handful of candidates on the June 12 ballot—Arthur Peabody, Victoria Menjivar, Sammie Moshenberg, Allison Silberberg and Boyd Walker.

PAC President Ginny Hines Parry said ASG, a nonpartisan PAC founded in 2002, has endorsed these candidates because of their “long, strong ties to the community, experience in local issues, good organizational and interpersonal skills” and work with citizens.

Parry said recent decisions on the waterfront plan and Beauregard corridor by the current mayor and City Council are “of great concern to ASG supporters.”
