Pizza Paradiso. Perfect and creative pizzas, a beer list fullof tasty exotics that changes weekly, and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. What's not to like?

Nothing even comes close to Paradiso..

First, anyone who says pizzeria paradiso knows NOTHING about neopolitan style pizza (get thee to pupatella in Arlington IMMEDIATELY :P). Their pizzas are painfully bland, the crusts are always overly burnt - the ONLY redeeming qualities are the beer list and the free olives :P

Faccia Luna is the best in old town, hands down, followed by red rocks
Del ray pizzeria is the best in del ray.

Del Ray Pizzeria is the *ONLY* in Del Ray, which is about as good a compliment as anyone who enjoys pizza can give them.

But, I have to agree with your other picks!

(and to back my point up, I know several italians and one person who lived in Rome for a while and every one of them agrees that the pizza at pizzeria paradiso is a TRAVESTY - the olive garden of neopolitan pizza :P)

That's funny Linda. My wife is from Bardi (born and raised) and her mother is from Naples (still lives there) and both of them refer to DRP using an Italian word roughly translating to "massacre". They give high praise to Paradiso.

I wish I knew the appropriate Italian word to describe DRP's pizza. Inedible at best.

Monroe's pizza has a very thin crust and is delicious.

I don't know about the best but the worst surely is Del Ray Pizza. Most tasetless excuse for pizza I have ever had. How can you mess up a pizza margharita? They sure do.
