How does a guy who doesn't even bartend in Old Town get nominated as "best bartender"?

              It's a Del Ray/Old Town poll!

              Monroe's is in Del Ray!

(And there was a nominating time period!)

              Cheers!!!

              Ohhh... You're a HATER.

This poll isn't about me... It's about all of these great WINNERS.

I'm a Native of Del Ray, and I've spent my whole life in DR/OT... The places & people listed above, who WON, are awesome!

And you're right... I don't "bartend." That's not a real job, I am a Bartender, who tends bar.

I've been doing so, in Del Ray & Old Town for over 15 years.

And who are YOU, to say otherwise?

I am sad The Purple Goose didn't win for Kid's Store, it is my favorite place to spoil my nieces and nephews, but I am glad to see St. Elmo's win. Congrats to Nora and Liz at the Dairy Godmother.

Thanks to everyone who voted for Del Ray Cafe in Best Breakfast category! We are feeling the love :-)
Not sure how they decided which "second places" to post, but we are also thankful to have La Bergerie voted second place in the Best Special Occasion Restaurant category (if you click through the category header to look at the raw numbers). Alexandria Restaurant Week has been very successful this year, and we will continue to offer the 3 course prix-fixe menu at La Bergerie through the weekend.
