As a gathering and community meeting place, I love St. Elmo's. But it lacks much merit as a coffee shop. The coffee is terrible. The pastries and other food items are mediocre at best. Buzz and Misha's significantly more in terms of quality and enjoyability. St. Elmo's is about the location and people, not about the coffee or food. That's too bad...
