Shoe Boutique to Hold Series of Trunk Shows

The Shoe Hive to feature shoe and accessory collections.

, an upscale shoe boutique in Old Town, is kicking off the official start of fall with a series of designer drunk shows throughout October. 

The annual event starts Friday with a three-day Marc Joseph trunk show that features 20 percent off the designer footwear. 

A one-day Tory Burch trunk show will be held on Oct. 8. Shoppers get 20 percent off and can special order Tory Burch sunglasses.

From Oct. 14-16, shoppers get 20 percent discounts on trunk show items from BUTTER and Something Bleu. Lee Riech, who owns the footwear lines, will be at the store on Oct. 15. 

The last trunk show runs from Oct. 21-23 and features jewelry from Asha, a collection of pieces that The Shoe Hive describes as having "simple elegance."

Elizabeth Todd, who owns the store, says she's looking forward to the event. "It's just a good chance to bring in different things that we don't have here all the time," she said. "Last year, it was so successful. It's just kind of fun."

The Shoe Hive, which opened in 2003, is located at 127 S. Fairfax St.
