The 'Nest Project' Makes a Home in Old Town Alexandria

Target Gallery and Northern Virginia Habitat for Humanity collaborate to bring The Nest Project to the Torpedo Factory and the waterfront

The Nest Project is a four-part initiative being constructed with the help of a dozen local Washington, D.C., area art groups, Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia and the Torpedo Factory Artists’ Association.

The Target Gallery at the Torpedo Center is presenting its exhibit "Nest" as part of the project.

Nest is a national juried exhibition, which examines the nest as a symbol for home and refuge.

Please enjoy this photo gallery showing artists and others setting up and putting the finishing touches on the installations last weekend.
