The 26th Annual Valor Awards were held Thursday afternoon at the Crowne Plaza to honor first responders for acts of extraordinary valor throughout the year.
Channel 7 WJLA-TV Chief Meteorologist Doug Hill, a former police officer, narrated the harrowing stories and tales of bravery from Alexandria's Police Department, Fire Department and Sheriff's Office.
