This fall, The Art League School is moving classrooms from its Duke Street Annex to its newly renovated building on Madison Street, combining 2-D and 3-D instructional space under one roof in Old Town. This Saturday from 6:00–9:00 pm, there will be a Free-Cycle Garage Party at the old space to help prepare for the move!
The garage sale party includes books, furniture, frames, and other arts odds and ends from the Duke Street building. For a $30 donation, take an all-you-can-carry assortment of things like books, frames, and other oddities. Larger items, like desks, sofas, chairs, easels, and photography equipment, will have price tags. See the photo gallery for some of what will be available.
There will also be a graffiti painting party in the garage, music, and a popcorn machine. All proceeds go to the "30-Something" campaign to fund the build-out project.
Along with the Free-Cycle Garage Party on Saturday, The Art League is hosting a series of events this summer for the "30-Something" campaign, including an online auction and a drawing marathon. You can read more about the project and events here.
