UPDATE: Congratulations to La Strada in Del Ray for winning the Best of Alexandria Patch poll this week in the "Best Italian Restaurant" category! Voting by Patch readers began on Monday and Del Ray's La Strada saw 46 votes by the time the poll closed Friday at 9 a.m. Faccia Luna came in second place in the poll, with 32 votes, followed by Monroe's with 30 votes. The winner will get a framed "Best of Alexandria" certificate from Patch, plus bragging rights. Stay tuned for our next "Best of" poll coming up Monday—"Best Store for Children's Gifts."
