The Friends of the Torpedo Factory Art Center will announce the 2013 winner of Artist of the Year, an annual competition open to all artists in the Torpedo Factory Artists' Association to honor outstanding achievement in art. The juror for 2013 was J. W. Mahoney.
Light refreshments will be served at this free, public reception. Both Mark Pretzat, President of the Friends, and juror J. W. Mahoney will make brief remarks. The winning artist receives a cash award and the opportunity to exhibit his or her work in Target Gallery, July 6 - 28, 2013.
