to the world in numerous ways. Peace Paper works with survivors of traum
a and uses a portable paper making studio and fibers that hold significa
nce (such as articles of clothing that one might have worn during chemo
treatment\, or part of a military uniform\, etc) to create handmade pape
 r. Their goal is to bring paper to the people so that they may transform
their unique fibers into works of art\; expressing their stories throug
h the pulp while using the medium of papermaking to enrich their artisti
c voices. Find out more:&nbsp\;www.peacepaper.net\nAbout Art in Public S
pacesThe Art in Public Spaces (APS) program serves as the community outr

am works with DC-metro area organizations in an effort to reach out to n
ew and neglected groups\, expanding the diversity of the audience to the
TFAC. APS is managed by Target Gallery\, national exhibition space of t
he Torpedo Factory Art Center.\nGallery InformationThe Target Gallery\,
national exhibition space of the Torpedo Factory Art Center\, promotes h
