More About Charles Houston Recreation Center
Funded by the city for the use of all Alexandria residents, this recreation center provides a large gym, outside pool and inside game room. The center, which is situated in the northwest quadrant of the city, provides an outlet for disadvantaged children in nearby neighborhoods, as well as seniors and others who need a place to go. The Center also offers a substance abuse program.
