Help the Red Cross — The Alexandria Chapter House of the American Red Cross (123 North Alfred St.) is hosting a blood drive from 2 to 8 p.m. Donors will receive coupons for free items from Dunkin’ Donuts.

‘Scapes — Looking for some new scenery for your lunchtime stroll? The Art League Gallery’s August landscape exhibit is currently on display. Artwork of all mediums inspired by environments as diverse as coastal scenes and industrial-urban areas is on display today from noon to 6 p.m. at 105. N. Union St.
