Sur La Table Opens — Sur La Table is officially opening its new store at 326 King St. at 10 a.m. today. Along with selling kitchenware and cookware accessories, Sur La Table will offer a culinary program at the new spot.

National Cheese Pizza Day — You’re all well aware of the nutritional and medicinal aspects of this fine food, which is celebrated today with its own yummy holiday. Where do you get your favorite cheese pizza in and around Old Town?

Frost Advisory — This local jazz trio visits the Old Town Theater (815 King St.) for a two-hour show beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available online or at the door.

Heather Mae — D.C.-based singer-songwriter Heather Mae takes the stage for a free show at The Light Horse (715 King St.) at 10 p.m. Give a listen to Mae’s “One of These Days” here.

First Thursday in Del Ray — Venture over to Del Ray for the final First Thursday street festival of 2013. The theme of the event, which runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. along Mount Vernon Avenue, is “Lights, Camera, Fashion.” More details are available over at Del Ray Patch.
