Occasionally Cake of Alexandria, Va. is celebrating their four-year anniversary on Sun., July 21 and handing out one free cupcake per person to all their patrons with no purchase necessary at their Old Town Alexandria shop at 207 King Street. They will also donate 25 percent of all their sales that day to the March of Dimes, as well as collect donations to be given to the organization. The free cupcakes will be available in Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Marshmallow flavors. A variety of other flavors will be available for purchase.
“We hope everyone can join us for some free cupcakes and help us celebrate our four year anniversary,” said Sabrina Campbell, owner of Occasionally Cake of Alexandria, Va. “With the recent, early arrival of my son, I really wanted to support the education and research of prenatal care and research,” said Campbell.

Both Alexandria cake boutiques offer more than 100 cake and gourmet cupcake flavors. Occasionally Cake is also renowned for their cake truffles. Instead of discarding leftover cake, it became the centerpiece of their cake truffles, and then dipped in Belgian chocolate.
