    Hooray For Books! is turning three this month. Enjoy balloons, face painting, book readings and three visits from fabulous Froggy

  • What’s the deal?  African Heritage Cultural Festival – "Reaching Back Moving Forward"
    The festival, highlighting the African-American experience from the Civil War era, will feature musical performances; traditional arts, crafts, paintings and souvenirs; a film festival in the Alexandria Black History Museum; and exhibits and workshops
  • When: Saturday, June 18,  noon - 6 p.m
  • Where:  Charles Houston Recreation Center, 901 Wythe Street, Alexandria
  • Cost: Free!
