"A Night of Her Own: Celebrating Sisterhood" Spring Gala

When a butterfly flaps its wings, a "ripple effect" commences that can change the course of a life. On Saturday, April 21st, our Alexandria-based nonprofit, SOHO (Space of Her Own) will celebrate the impact created by our mentors at "A Night of Her Own: Celebrating Sisterhood."

This first annual spring gala will feature dinner, entertainment, a silent auction with unique items, and opportunities to engage with and learn more about SOHO.

The spring gala will help to raise funds for our creative mentorship program which provides disadvantaged pre-teen girls with creative arts activities and life skills instruction. As a result of SOHO's work since 2003, our SOHO "Butterflies" are learning how to spread their wings, and strides are being made toward the prevention of juvenile crime in Alexandria.
