Mexican Restaurant Coming to Old Town

Los Cuates coming to former Tiffany Tavern site.

Mexican restaurant Los Cuates is expanding into Old Town Alexandria.

The eatery currently has one location in Georgetown in the 1500 block of Wisconsin Ave.

A coming soon banner for Los Cuates was recently draped over the entrance to the former Tiffany Tavern space at 1116 King St.

Tiffany Tavern closed in March 2013 after 33 years in operation at the location.

In June, Alexandria approved plans for a new French Bistro at the site from Cyrille Brenac, owner of Georgetown’s Bistrot Lepic and Wine Bar.

Vaso's Kitchen recently opened a second location next door at 1118 King St.
