Opening Soon: Old Town H&M

H&M readies new store in former Restoration Hardware location.

Clothing retailer H&M announced Wednesday on its Facebook page that it will open its new Old Town store at noon Thursday, July 25.

The storefront, located at 614 King St., most recently housed Restoration Hardware.

H&M is offering the first 100 shoppers in line on opening day an “all-access fashion pass” valued up to $300 off a shopper’s entire purchase.

If waiting outside sounds like a bit of a bore, H&M will be handing out free treats from Georgetown Cupcake to those in line.

H&M has about 2,500 stores spread across 44 markets around the globe. The company performed more than $975,000 worth of interior renovations to its Old Town store.
