George Washington joining the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Community Reception

“George Washington”, mascot of the Washington Nationals, has confirmed his attendance at the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s 2014 Chairman’s Community Reception on January 23.  This exciting event will feature live jazz, a cigar bar and gourmet catering.

The Reception will be held at the United Way Worldwide headquarters overlooking the Potomac.  The event is designed to unite area residents, employers, cultural organizations, and political representatives as well as celebrate our community and introduce the new Chairman of the Board and the 2014 Officers and Board members.  

“We are thrilled to have the gentleman who is the standard bearer of exemplary leadership and community participation attend our Community Reception” stated John T. Long, President  & CEO of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.
