Local Businesses Team Up For New Commercial Property Deal in Alexandria

LRB Business Centers is working to get several of its prime properties in Old Town Alexandria leased to businesses that want the perks of being near the capital along with the charm of a waterfront city with a historic backdrop.

Alexandria-based LRB Business Centers hired Urbana RE to manage its listed properties in the area, the companies announced this month.

Urbana, which is also based in Alexandria, recently made some aggressive business moves of its own this month.

Urbana, a boutique real estate and property management agency, offers commercial management, listing, and selling services.

LRB Business Centers now has about 30 offices available, Urbana senior staff members said.

2121 Eisenhower Ave., Alexandria, VA 22341

Potential leasers will particularly be impressed by how updated and technologically advanced the available spaces are and by what they provide in the way of business development, said William McCoy, II, an Urbana broker working in Virginia, Maryland and the District.

Owners of small businesses looking to set up shop with minimal overhead and flexible leasing terms will likely find LRB properties are a good match for them, officials of both of the companies said.
