Wednesday is the last day to purchase tickets online for certain events related to the Scottish Christmas Walk weekend and parade.
The parade is free and does not require tickets, but several other events do require tickets. Except for the parade and the Designer Tour of Homes, all other events are held at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial.
Entrance to the Taste of Scotland Patron Pub and general admission to the Taste of Scotland require tickets for the Friday event.
Tickets for the Holiday Home tours in Old Town are also still available. The tour will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The holiday weekend also is offering Deck the Halls with Santa – A Children’s Party on Friday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the memorial.
The heather and greens sale does not require tickets and will be held Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Christmas marketplace also does not require tickets and will be held Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
After Wednesday, tickets can still be purchased but must be picked up at the Campagna Center or at the event site.
The center’s Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend and Parade is the largest fundraising activity for the Campagna Center, which serves more than 1,700 Alexandria children and their families daily.
Saturday’s events culminate with the Boat Parade of Lights on Alexandria’s waterfront beginning at 5:15 p.m. although dockside festivities begin about an hour earlier.
