Alexandria Food Swap!

Are
you
food-crafty?

Want to swap homemade yogurt for kimchi? Clover extract for toffee? Why not? Provided its homemade, home grown or foraged,
bring it to the Alexandria Food Swap and you can swap it! No money
changes hands, food is the only currency.



The event will last about an hour and a half.
The first block of time will be about sampling and chatting with the other
participants. It’s a great opportunity to swap recipes and tips. After that
it’s time to place bids. Swappers weigh up their offers and then exchange their
goods.

creations to trade with home cooks from the DMV area & be inspired by
their creativity.

The food swap will take place on
Sunday, May 25th at historic Friendship Firehouse Museum in Old Town,
Alexandria.
