STEM enrichment is a fabulous addition to your child’s after school activity program.
We offer a three-week session on Wednesday afternoons. Sign up for as many sessions as you like this winter and spring.
Dates and Times: Wednesdays 1:30 to 5:00- February 20th thru May 8th. No Lab on March 27th.

LEGO® Education WeDo™
Robotics
We are using Windows-based computers that run WeDo©, LEGO Education©'s award-winning construction kit and
software designed for kids ages 5 to 9. We provide the laptops and the model kits. Every student has their own Lego kit. After learning the computer program, many students are able to design their own Robots and program them successfully. Some students even draw their model before building it and their ideas and creativity are truly amazing.
In Lego Robotics Lab, students learn the basics of mechanics (axles, pulleys and gears, sensors, etc.) as well
as elementary concepts of computer programming - all in a fun environment.This hands-on active learning, lab is a great way to engage students in STEM education without them even realizing it! Our program offers kids new
skills and a positive learning opportunity on many levels.

Birthday Parties and Special Event Parties are now available at
Renaissance. Parties will be booked on Saturdays.
We accept Birthday Party Bookings at our locations during the winter months. We provide all the FUN that is needed; you just need to bring your birthday crew, cake and drinks. 2 hours costs $320 for up to 10 kids. We can sometimes bring our Lego Birthday parties to the site you select. Large parties can be at the venue of your choice. We plan the party with you and personalize each party just for you. We have given parties for the State Department and other large organizations. If you have a special event and
want to entertain the children, we provide the talent and materials. Please note that our establishment offers a unique theme and cannot be compared in other terms with jumping castle, bounce and play type venues. Please call Linda to discuss your personal party needs at 703-244-0585.
