G-O-T Music! (Grammys, Oscars, Tonys) West Potomac Choirs Annual Spring Show

G-O-T Music!  The West Potomac Choirs present their annual spring show with an exciting evening of great Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award-winning music. Fully choreographed, this popular annual event is sure to be a crowd pleaser with over 150 singers, including students from Sandburg Middle School and the WP feeder elementary schools of Belle View, Bucknell, Fort Hunt, Stratford Landing, and Waynewood.  This year a special guest ensemble has been added – the WP Chorus Alumni Singers – comprised of graduates from 1989 to 2013.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.westpotomacchoirs.org for $5 student, $10 adult, or at the door for $8 student, $12 adult. Show times are Thursday, June 5 at 5 p.m.; Friday, June 6, at 7 p.m.; and Saturday, June 7, at 7 p.m., in Springbank Auditorium, West Potomac High School, 6500 Quander Rd., Alexandria, VA 22307. 

Songs include such recent hits as Happy and Let it Go, as well as Disney award-winning songs. Grammy selections include songs by Frank Sinatra, Bruno Mars, Adele, Eric Clapton, Natalie Cole, and Taylor Swift; Tony award-winning songs will include selections from PippinWest Side StoryHairspraySpring AwakeningKing and IBilly ElliotJersey BoysRentA Chorus Line, and much more!
