Stroll through lovely properties in one of Alexandria's historic districts dressed up for the holidays by interior designers and local florists.
The Dec. 1 house tour is part of the 42nd Annual Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend, the proceeds from the tour go directly toward the programs of The Campagna Center.
The tour is 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are available at , any of the homes on the tour. You can also purchase Scottish Christmas Walk event tickets online but they must be picked up at the Campagna Center in Old Town. The fee for the house tour is $30 for advance purchase or $35 on Dec. 1.

When West Virginia became a state, the Restored Virginia Government moved from West Virginia and established its capital in Alexandria, at this address.
207 S. Fairfax: This 1807 home has an extensive art collection including art from Central and South America.
415 Wolfe St: There is a lot of wonderful history in this home. The beautiful and historic Holland House was built by a British sea captain in the 1760s as a two-story farmhouse. The house underwent a major renovation in 1930.
St. Paul’s and The Campagna Center are also open for the tour.
