Alexandria Police Investigating Duke Street Bank Robbery

Suspect caught on surveillance cameras.

Alexandria police are investigating a Jan. 3 robbery that occurred at the PNC Bank branch located at 4513 Duke St.

According to police, a suspect entered the bank branch around 2:15 p.m. and demanded cash. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the bank. No one was injured in the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 25 to 35 years old, standing 5-foot-10 to 6-feet with a thin build. The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras.
