Crime Report: Thefts from Vehicles Persist

March 31 - An assault was reported in the 300 block of Hopkins Court at 6:09 p.m. The case is open.

March 30 - Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 1800 block of Carpenter Rd. at 11:48 a.m. The case is pending.

March 30 - Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 1600 block of Hunting Creek Dr. at 9:25 a.m. The case is pending.

March 30 - A fraud offense was reported at King St. and Pitt St. at 1:22 a.m. The case is pending.

March 29 - Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of Powhatan St. at 10:14 p.m. The case is pending.

March 29 - An assault was reported in the 800 block of Slaters La. at 6 p.m. The case is open.

March 29 - An assault was reported between two people who know each other while they were attending early morning prayer at a church in the 300 block of S. Alfred St. at 7:51 a.m. The case is open.

March 29 - An arrest was made for assault with a deadly weapon at Montgomery St. and N. Patrick St. at 12:09 a.m. 

March 28 - A robbery was reported at W. Nelson Ave. and Wayne St. at 2 p.m. The case is open.

March 28 - An assault and a breaking-and-entering incident were reported in the 900 block of N. Henry St. at 10:55 a.m. The case is pending.

March 27 - A vehicle was reported stolen and recovered in the 500 block of N. Payne St. at 7:59 p.m. The case is pending.

March 27 - A theft was reported in the 100 block of N. Pitt St. at 2:57 p.m. The case is open.

March 27 - A woman reported that unknown suspect/s entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a gym bag containing workout gear as it was parked in front of her residence in the 1300 block of Seaport La. The incident occurred at 10:04 a.m. The case is pending.

March 27 - A victim reported that he was punched in the eye by a known subject in the 800 block of First St. at 2:08 a.m. 

March 26 - Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 600 block of N. Columbus St. at 3:57 p.m. The case is pending.

March 26 - A victim reported that two cast iron garden urns were stolen from her house in the 1000 block of First St. at 11:44 a.m. The case is pending.

March 26 - Unknown suspect/s entered a victim's vehicle by unknown means and ransacked the interior while stealing cash from the ashtray. A small nylon pouch containing electronic accessories was also taken. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Powhatan St. at 11:09 a.m. The case is pending.

March 26 - Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 900 block of Oronoco St. at 9:34 a.m. The case is pending.

March 26 - An arrest was made for a shoplifting offense in the 500 block of First St. at 8:26 a.m.  

March 26 - A theft was reported in the 100 block of N. Pitt St. at 7:40 a.m. The case is pending.
