Crime Report for Old Town Alexandria

More stolen wallets, vehicles and a shoplifting offense

The following information was provided to www.crimereports.com by the Alexandria Police Department. Additional details about the most recent crimes were not available at publication time.

May 28 – A theft was reported in the 600 block of Aspinwall Lane at 10:39 a.m.

May 28 – A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 1000 block of Madison Street at 1:53 a.m.

May 27 – A theft was reported in the 300 block of N. Fairfax Street at 5:12 p.m.

May 27 – A theft was reported in the 900 block of S. Washington Street at 11:43 a.m.

May 27 – A theft was reported in the 100 block of N. Union Street at 11:07 a.m.

May 26 – A vehicle was reported stolen in the 1400 block of Cameron Street at 12:38 p.m.

May 26 – A theft was reported in the 500 block of King Street at 11:22 a.m.

May 25 – A vehicle was reported stolen in the 800 block of Bashford Lane at 4:50 p.m.

May 25 – A wallet that was inadvertently left at a location in the 600 block of S. Washington Street at 2:42 p.m. was reported stolen. The victim reported that she didn’t realize the wallet was missing until her credit card company contacted her about suspicious activity.

May 25 – A shoplifting offense occurred in the 600 block of N. St. Asaph Street at 1:30 p.m.

May 24 – A victim reported that a bag containing her wallet and iPhone was stolen as she exited a bus after returning from a trip to the Preakness. The theft happened in the 300 block of S. West Street at 10:51 a.m. (Updated from earlier report)
