Crime Report for Old Town Alexandria: Assault on a Police Officer

June 14 – A theft was reported in the 200 block of King Street at 9:30 a.m.

June 14 – A theft was reported in the 100 block of Oronoco Street at 8:49 a.m.

June 13 – A theft was reported in the 100 block of S. Union Street at 3:53 p.m.

June 13 – A shoplifting offense was reported in the 100 block of S. Fairfax Street at 2:02 p.m.

June 13 – An assault occurred between two or more subjects who had a prior relationship or were known to each other in the 500 block of King Street at 1:51 p.m.

June 13 – A wallet was reported stolen from an unlocked drawer in an unlocked office in the 900 block of King Street at 12:50 p.m.

June 13 – A theft was reported in the 800 block of King Street at 12:41 p.m.

June 12 -  A known subject was arrested for assault on a police officer and resisting arrest in the 1200 block of Madison Street at 2 a.m. The subject repeatedly defied an order not to ride his bicycle without a light and was eventually apprehended by police.
