Crime Report: Lock Your Cars and Bicycles

Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents.

April 29

2:32 a.m. - 3800 block of N. Washington Street, someone reported a burglary. 

5:04 p.m. - 1100 block of Jefferson Street, a person reported their car was stolen.

5:38 p.m. - 500 block of N. Fayette Street, an unknown suspect/s stole a person's bike stand from the motorcycle parking area of the garage at the apartment complex at this location.

April 30

8:02 a.m. - 500 Block of Colecroft Court, a person reported an unknown suspect stole his unsecured bicycle and wood molding from his patio at his residence. Both items were found later. 

2:02 p.m. - 1300 block of King Steret, a person reported an unknown person or people stole his bicycle, which was left unattended in the alley next to his store at this location. 

9:27 p.m. - 1500 block of Princess Street, a person reported a larceny/theft offense.

10:34 p.m. - 1500 block of Princess Street, a person reported an assault and a suspect was arrested.

11:58 p.m. - 3400 block of N. Payne Street, a person entered someone's vehicle and stole a bookbag that contained a laptop, papers and other personal items. The vehicle was parked on the street.

May 1

12:55 a.m. - 1900 block of King Street, a person reported his camera was either lost or stolen while riding the trolley.

6:16 a.m. - 700 block of N. Henry Street, a person reported a burglary/breaking and entering incident. 

7:57 a.m. - 1000 block of Wythe Street, a person reported a larceny/theft offense. 

9:47 a.m. - 1100 block of Madison Street, an assault was reported and a person was arrested.

12:40 p.m. - 200 block of King Street, a person reported a shoplifting incident. 

8:58 p.m. - 500 block of N. Henry Street, a person reported a larceny/theft offense.

May 2

7:39 a.m. - 200 block of S. Lee Street, a person reported their vehicle was stolen. It had been parked in front of the person's residence. 

3 p.m. - 1100 block of King Street, a person reported a theft.

May 3 

12:35 p.m. - 1100 block of King Street, a person reported a theft.
