Crime Report: Thefts and Assaults

The following information was supplied by the Alexandria Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Aug. 14 – A patron reported being assaulted by a security officer at a restaurant in the 1000 block of N. Henry St. at 2:50 p.m.

Aug. 14 – A woman reported that a thief stole cash and a check card from her purse, which she left in her unlocked vehicle as she did landscaping at a residence in the 700 block of Kahn Pl. around 4:42 p.m.

Aug. 14 – Theft from a vehicle was reported at 7:21 p.m. in the 700 block of Slaters La.

Aug. 13 – The owner of a motorcycle reported it stolen from a residential garage around 2:14 a.m. in the 2200 block of Mill Rd.

Aug. 13 – An assault occurred between two people who knew each other. It happened in the 200 block of Lee St. around 7:17 p.m. in the 200 block of N. Lee St.

Aug. 12 – A burglary and breaking and entering was reported in the 300 block of Hopkins Ct. at 9 a.m.

Aug. 11 – A woman left her iPad in a restaurant in the 600 block of Montgomery St., and it was gone by the time she returned to claim it at 3:46 p.m.

Aug. 10 – A theft was reported in the 200 block of Madison St. at 7:22 p.m.

Aug. 10 – A theft was reported in the 1200 block of Wythe St. at 1:25 p.m.

Aug. 9 – Theft from a vehicle was reported in the 800 block of Pendleton St. at 6:12 p.m.

Aug. 9 – Breaking and entering occurred at 11:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Oronoco St.

Aug. 8 – A theft from a vehicle was reported at 2:50 a.m. in the 800 block of Jefferson St.

Aug. 8 – Theft from a vehicle was reported in the 1100 block of N. Washington St. at 8:04 a.m.
