Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Arrests Alexandria Police Officer

Four-year veteran of Alexandria police officer arrested for fraudulent sale of motor vehicles

An Alexandria police officer has been arrested for the fraudulent sale of motor vehicles.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office served the arrest warrant on Angel Roa, who has served with the Alexandria Police Department for four years.  He was charged with obtaining money by fraud or false pretenses.  The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office investigation is ongoing.

Roa has been placed on administrative leave without pay pending the outcome of an administrative investigation.

“Officer Roa is entitled to due process, however, I want to assure residents that the Alexandria Police does not tolerate criminal or other inappropriate behavior of any kind from its employees,” said Chief Earl Cook in a statement.
