In one case, the homeowner left the residence in the 400 block of S. Fairfax Street on Jan. 20 around noon.  When she returned home at approximately 2:30 p.m., she noticed that someone had broken into her house and stole jewelry, antique silver and checks.

In the second case, the homeowners noticed sterling silver from their silver chest was missing after they returned home from being out of town.  The owners did not notice the items missing from their residence in the 100 block of S. Lee Street right away due to renovations being completed during that time.  They reported the crime as soon as the items were found to be missing.
