Police Investigate Burglary, Assault on Archer Court

When a 16-year-old girl went to answer the door, a man grabbed her and pushed her to the floor but then fled.

Alexandria Police are investigating a burglary and assault that occurred in the 1100 block of Archer Ct. on Monday night.

Around 8 p.m., a 16-year-old girl heard a loud noise at the front door. When she went to investigate, she was confronted by a man who grabbed her and pushed her to the floor. The victim’s cell phone rang and the suspect fled the residence.  The victim was not seriously injured.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early twenties, 6-feet to 6-2, weighing approximately 190 to 200 pounds with black hair and a goatee.
