Police Reports: Stolen Vehicles, Stolen Bikes, Breaking and Entering and More Graffiti

The Alexandria Police Department reported the following crimes in the Old Town area.

Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.

Aug. 23 – A vehicle was stolen from the 400 block of Madison Street.

Aug. 22 – A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 900 block of Pendleton Street.

Aug. 21 – A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of Portner Road.

Aug. 20 – An unsecured bicycle was stolen from a condominium parking garage in the 600 block of Second Street.

Aug. 20 – An assault was reported in the 900 block of N. Henry Street.

Aug. 20  - Breaking and entering reported on the 1300 block of Wythe Street.

Aug. 19 – A bicycle was stolen from a bike rack at Braddock Metro.

Aug. 18 – A man reported his car was broken into and an iPad, briefcase and sunglasses were stolen from the 1200 block of Braddock Place.

Aug. 18 – Graffiti was brush painted on the side of a building in the 200 block of N. Union Street.

Aug. 18 – Graffiti was spray painted on a city light pole in the 200 block of Lee Street.
