Police Reports: Thefts, Assaults in the Old Town Area

Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.

Aug. 17

2:33 p.m. — A fraud offense was reported in the 600 block of S. Patrick Street.

1:04 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 1300 block of Madison Street.

Aug. 16

10:30 p.m. — An arrest was made for driving under the influence at the corner of Franklin and Columbus streets.

8:45 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 1000 block of King Street.

3:13 a.m. — An arrest was made for public drunkenness at the corner of N. Washington and Pendleton streets.

Aug. 15

3 p.m. — A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 700 block of N. Patrick Street.

2:28 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 900 block of N. Henry Street.

12:51 a.m. — An arrest was made for public drunkenness in the 300 block of Tancil Court.

Aug. 14

7:11 p.m. — A woman reported losing her cell phone while shopping in the 100 block of N. Washington Street.

12:45 p.m. — A victim reported the hood of her vehicle had been scratched while it was parked in a lot in the 1000 block of Montgomery Street.

Aug. 13

10:24 a.m. — A theft was reported in the 400 block of Franklin Street.

Aug. 12

11:28 p.m. — A shoplifting offense was reported in the 500 block of First Street.

1:47 p.m. — A destruction of property offense was reported in the 1000 block of Gibbon Street.

1:25 p.m. — An assault was reported in the 800 block of Bashford Lane.

11:59 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 900 block of N. Henry Street.

Aug. 11

2:59 p.m. — Spray-painted graffiti was reported on the doors of a building located in the 100 block of N. Lee Street.

1:44 p.m. — A storeowner reported a broken window next to the entrance to her business located in the 200 block of King Street.

1:34 a.m. — A suspect was arrested fro a liquor law violation in the 300 block of N. Henry Street.

1:32 a.m. — A suspect was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 1200 block of Wythe Street.

Aug. 10

8:10 p.m. — An assault was reported in the 1300 block of Wythe Street.

1:25 p.m. — Victim living in the 800 block of Bashford Lane reported being threatened by neighbor who had two knives in her hands.
