Arlington Officials Endorse Ebbin in Bid for Senate Seat

Arlington County leaders, County Board Member Jay Fisette, Commissioner of Revenue Ingrid Morroy and Treasurer Frank O'Leary recognize Ebbin as best choice in Senate race

Arlington County Board Member Jay Fisette, Commissioner of Revenue Ingrid Morroy and Treasurer Frank O’Leary have endorsed Del. Adam Ebbin to succeed Sen. Patsy Ticer, the Adam Ebbin for State Senate campaign announced this week. 

“When Arlington needed a public defender’s office to ensure the fairness of our judicial system, we turned to Adam Ebbin to help us secure the funding. When we needed him, he delivered, and will continue to do so in the Senate,” Fisette said in the release. 

Fisette, Morroy and O'Leary join members of the Virginia House of Delegates, including Dels. Bob Brink and Patrick Hope of Arlington, and Democratic Sens. Chap Petersen and John Edwards in supporting Ebbin.

“During my eight years in the House of Delegates, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Commissioner Morroy, Treasurer O’Leary and Board Member Fisette to advance local priorities and build a solid foundation for Arlington’s future. To have their support in my campaign for the 30th Senate District is incredibly gratifying,” Ebbin said in the release. 

Morroy echoed Fisette's confidence in Ebbin.

“As a satisfied constituent of Adam’s, I’ve seen how involved he’s been in Arlington’s diverse neighborhoods and communities. He’s someone voters in the 30th District can trust to be their voice in the State Senate,” Morroy said in the release.
