The Old Dominion Boat Club is hosting a council candidate forum next month open to the public.
The “controversy over the Alexandria waterfront plan, property rights and the overall direction of the community make this event a prime opportunity to learn where the candidates stand and inform the public,” according to a notice from the event’s organizers.
On Oct. 2 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., each candidate will be allowed to make a brief opening statement.
A moderator will then question each candidate.
