Report: Metro's Blue Line Is the Most Delayed

Blue and Red Lines scored lowest for on-time performance.

If it seems like you're always waiting for a train at King Street or Braddock Road Metro stations, you're not alone.

According to a report from Metro, the Blue Line performed the worst in terms of meeting on-time goals, WTOP reports.

The report tracked on-time performance for all of Metro's train lines from April 2011 to March 2012. Trains on the Blue Line were on schedule 88.2 percent of the time, falling short of the average Metro line performance of 90.2 percent on time.

The Orange Line performed best at 92.6 percent on time.

The Red Line was second-worst with 89.5 percent on-time.

In March, Metro reported that the Blue Line's Franconia-Springfield station than any other station in Virginia.
