If it doesn't snow again — and, hey, we've learned not to count on "normal" weather — Alexandria City Public Schools will not be adding additional days, or even minutes, to the school calendar.
The district announced Monday that the school year will end as scheduled, on June 20.
The Alexandria City School Board in January approved scheduled snow make-up days: March 14 and April 11 for traditional calendar schools and Feb. 28 and March 21 for modified calendar schools.
Based on additional information on how to calculate instructional hours, the school district announced Monday that the schedule is now final.
Unless it snows.
