The Washington Redskins have been traveling the road back to the NFL playoffs since 2007—and it's been a heck of a ride.
Next stop for the Washington Redskins: Sunday's 4:30 p.m. wildcard game against the Seattle Seahawks.
All this hailing to the Redskins should seem familiar: In 2007, the Redskins made the 2007 NFL playoffs as a wildcard team. And, just like this year, that 2007 playoff game was against the Seattle Seahawks.
Let's hope the similarities end there, because the Seahawks won the last time around. That game, though was in Seattle.
Sunday, the Redskins are at home for the first time in the NFL playoffs since they beat the Detroit Lions in 1999.

Can Robert Griffin III — RG3 — pull off another run against the Seahawks like this Oct. 14 performance against the Minnesota Vikings? (Check out the video of a RGIII touchdown run.)
Or will Albert Morris carry the day as he did here against the Cowboys and continue his record-breaking season? (Here's video of a Morris touchdown run.)
The latest betting lines favor Seattle over Washington by 3.
