Titans Fall to Bruins on Homecoming

Lake Braddock remains undefeated with rout of T.C. Williams.

The T.C. Williams varsity football team was shutout by Lake Braddock 44-0 Saturday at Parker Gray Memorial Stadium, according to The Washington Post.

Bruins quarterback Caleb Henderson, who was facing fellow North Carolina commits Malik Carney and Jeremiah Clarke, threw for 182 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 120 yards and two scores.

With the victory, Lake Braddock moved to 8-0 (5-0 Patriot District) on the season. The Bruins entered the game ranked No. 4 in The Post’s regional rankings and have shutout all five Patriot District opponents they’ve faced.

The Titans (5-3, 3-2 Patriot District) became the first Patriot District team to hold the Bruins under 50 points.

Saturday’s game was homecoming for T.C. Williams. The Titans wore pink socks for breast cancer awareness.

For its next game, T.C. Williams travels to West Springfield (3-5, 2-3 Patriot District) at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1.
