Join Our Region in National Public Lands Day

National Public Lands Day is a program of the Environmental Education Foundation bringing together volunteers across the nation on Sept. 29 to keep public lands healthy.

More than 170,000 volunteers are expected at more than 2,100 sites across the country on Sept. 29 to take part in the largest single-day volunteer effort for public lands in the United States, National Public Lands Day.

If you’d like to participate in sprucing up a nearby public park, here are a few locations in the area with the park’s related activity. It’s a great way to meet new people or get the family involved while taking care of our region’s public land.
